Where Does Cancer Come From?
Cancer begins beyond the reach of most microscopes, but its effects can be felt across the entire planet. Sometimes these mutations can lead to damaged cells that reproduce out of control, damaging the normal cells around them. This is what we call cancer.
Scientists have found specific causes for certain cancers. For example, the UV rays produced by the sun can lead to skin cancer.
