Attorney Bryan Blevins filed suit this week on behalf of his client Robert T. Booker, naming some 52 companies, including A.O. Smith Corp., Pfizer, and Union Carbide Corp., as defendants in the asbestos-related case. The lawsuit, filed in Jefferson County District Court, accuses defendants of failing to warn the public about the dangers of asbestos exposure and failing to sufficiently test their asbestos-containing products before putting them on the market.
Booker is seeking damages for pain and suffering, mental anguish, lost wages, disfigurement, and physical impairment, as well as exemplary damages.
