A man and his wife are filing suit against two foreign companies that were operating in East Texas.
The man alleges that he was exposed to toxic asbestos fibers which led to his development of mesothelioma. He also alleges that the two defendants did not adequately warn him of the dangers associated with asbestos-containing products. The suit also claims that the defendants did not take action to minimize his exposure to toxic material.
When asbestos fibers are airborne they can be inhaled. Once inside the body they can cause serious health hazards. The plaintiffs are seeking damages for medical expenses, mental and physical pain, mental anguish and more.
