Debris containing asbestos has been found on the housing at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
An official said that asbestos was found in the siding of the homes where people were living. They do not know how much asbestos is in the debris, but it has been tested and is said to be low hazard because it has not been airborne.
They plan to clean up all the peices in the housing area and contain the origin of the debris and evenutally they will remove all peices of debris. Fort Bliss is already in the process of moving families from that area of housing.
