Illinois School Loses Homecoming Game to Asbestos Removal

by Administrator 14. October 2009 13:13

Fulton High School in Fulton, Illinois has been evacuated due to asbestos concerns, meaning the school won't be able to play its annual homecoming game due to possible asbestos contamination in the locker rooms.  The curtailing of homecoming activities comes on the heels of a floor tile containing asbestos being improperly removed, which risks the airborne spread of the highly dangerous asbestos particles.

While the game had to be called off, the school plans on continuing with the homecoming parade on Saturday, and is hoping to hold the dance at a local middle school.

If you or someone you love has experienced health problems such as mesothelioma as a result of asbestos exposure, contact the asbestos lawyers of Williams Kherkher by calling 800-781-3955 today.
