He claims that any of the postions and jobs that he had during his career could have exposed him to asbestos. He worked in these fields between 1963 and 1996. Asbestos was a commonly used material during this time and it was used in an array of manufacturing and automotive fields. Asbestos was used to keep materials from being exposed to high temperatures. Dentists May be at Risk of Developing Mesothelioma

by Administrator 22. February 2010 18:00

Dentists may be at a higher than average risk for developing mesothelioma, a cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.

Since 1930, asbestos was used for the lining material for casting rings in the field of dentistry. Because dentists work in small examination rooms, they have a higher chance of inhaling asbestos. The continued inhaling also makes dentists more susceptible then other careers. When asbestos particles are inhaled, they lodge themselves into the lining of the lung. A tumor than develops but symptoms of the tumor may not develop for 20 to 50 years.

If you think that you have been exposed to asbestos in the field of dentistry or in any other field of work, contact the Mesothelioma lawyers of Wiliams Kherkher by calling 800-781-3955 today.
