A large victory on the mesothelioma front in the UK was appealed by the company involved. The Fibrecrete asbestos company operated for the 40 years before 1971, exposing many people to the extremely dangerous substance, asbestos. When the court ruled in favor of the former employees and their families, the company appealed. Now the case will wait for another year before anyone knows about compensation.

Nearly 40 years after the company closed down, employees are beginning to see the signs of asbestos related conditions.
